I love candles so when I saw this Basalm Cedar & Fir Odor Eliminating Candle on Amazon, I immediately orderd this product anticipating its arrival. When this item arrived, it was neatly packaged in nice box immediatly making me realize that this item would be an ideal gift for anyone. Additionally when I opend the box, the first thing displayed were two nice cards from the manufacture who appeared to take time and precision as to how they want the consumer to see their product. When I pulled out the candle, I immediately could smell the aroma of the cedar and the candle itself was inside a nice glass jar with high quality design features. This candle did NOT disappoint !! The aroma is absolutely fascinating and it is by far a cut above the rest. According to the manufacturer, this lovely product is made with natural soy wax, and each candle is hand-poured. This product is produced with premium materials and absolutely delivers high-grade aromatherapy experience! This candle is so nice, I actually don't want to burn it and just display it so I can still get the benefit of the Basalm Cedar aroma. There are many candles out there and the Basalm Cedar & Fir Odor Elimination Candle by far exceeded my expectations. The price may be steep, however, this company does not compromise quality and I feel this product is worth the value paid !! This product makes an ideal gift for anyone who loves candles, and will also be a great item to purchase for yourself !! Go ahead, buy one for you, YOU DESERVE IT !!!

I’ve been using this candle in a couple of rooms that tend to hold onto smells, and it has been better than I expected. The scent is a warm vanilla with a creamy note to it, not the sharp bakery smell that can get heavy fast. It makes the room feel cleaner and calmer without taking over the whole space. What I noticed most is that it does more than just smell nice while it burns. After cooking, especially anything with garlic or oil, the room felt less stale once this had been going for a little while. It also worked well in a bedroom that doesn’t get much airflow. The scent spread steadily instead of hitting all at once, and I didn’t notice any weird smoky smell or a bunch of soot around the jar. The burn has been even so far, which matters more to me than I expected. I hate candles that tunnel or start looking messy halfway through. This one has stayed pretty clean as long as I trim the wick before lighting it. The only thing I’d mention is that the fragrance is on the softer side, so if you want something very strong or perfumey, this probably won’t be enough for a large open room. For smaller spaces, though, it feels just right. Overall, this is a nice everyday candle if you want a gentle vanilla scent that helps make a room feel fresher without being overwhelming.

Our house is pretty small, and I'm the mother of three teenage boys, so I'm ALWAYS looking for odor eliminators that actually tackle the smell instead of just layering a chemical-y floral scent over it. I've only burned this candle a few times so far, but I'm impressed with how well it's helped eliminate garbage, bathroom, and sweaty-boy-room smells 🤢 The lemon scent is a strong, fresh, summery citrus that doesn't have that artificial cleaning-product smell, and I really like the amber jar—it could look great sitting on a shelf or kitchen counter. And that's where my one complaint comes in: the label. It makes the candle look way too much like a cleaning product, which is really unfortunate because the scent and amber jar (and price tag!) give this more of a boutique-candle vibe. It's something I'd normally want to leave displayed between uses, but the label makes me want to tuck it away. That's the only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5. I'd definitely recommend that the makers consider redesigning the label to have a more attractive, aesthetic look. The candle itself, though? Definitely recommend!

I really like this candle. The lemon scent is pretty strong as soon as you open the jar, but it smells like a fresh, clean lemon rather than an overly sweet lemon fragrance. Once lit, it gives the room a really refreshing scent. I’ve been using mine in the kitchen, which feels like the perfect place for it, but I could definitely see using it in a bathroom too. I haven’t had it long enough to say how well it works for long-term odor elimination, but even in the short amount of time I’ve used it, I have noticed a difference with lingering smells. The stronger lemon scent seems to work especially well for freshening up the kitchen. I also like the more simple, homemade-style look of the candle and the amber glass jar. It’s made with soy wax, which isn’t usually my first choice for candles, but so far it burns nicely and the scent has been plenty strong enough for me. Definitely one I’ll keep using, especially when the kitchen needs a little freshening up.
