Aredenua is a favorite candle maker of mine. I enjoy all their scent combinations. They're complex, well blended, and always enjoyable. The scents are natural and never irritating or overwhelming. Even compared to well-known brands, they are noticeably more refined. I order from Aredenua confident I'm going to enjoy a great candle. Even though this Lavender candle is labeled as a single note, it has a complexity to it that gives a richer scent experience. The lavender is definitely the most prominent, but it’s overall richer and deeper, with additional notes that I find to be maybe slightly resinous or spicy, along with an earthy background. I’m not a scent expert, but I do enjoy having a simple scent made more complex and interesting like this one. Atop the candle wax are quite a number of natural amethyst stones of varying shades. I know from experience that once the candle is melting, the stones will drop down to the level of unmelted wax. So when the wax resolidifies, they will no longer be visible. I've left them as is, and get to 'redisover' them when burning the candle again. They could be removed and returned to the candle surface once it's cooled - entirely up to you. The jar is eye-catching, resembling cut crystal, and sitting atop a similar pedestal as though it’s hovering. The fact that it spins just adds to that effect. Despite the weight of the glass, with just a finger, you can set it spinning a couple turns around. It spins smoothly and quietly. But one caution: The pedestal has a 1+” diameter plastic turntable that the candle spins on. The weighty candle jar has a recessed circle in the bottom that fits over it, with about 1/8” or so of wiggle room. It’s just loose enough that too fast a spin or a hard knock could tip the candle. The candle also comes ready for gift giving if you're so inclined. The box and foam padding are shipping ready, too. This candle delivers the quality scent I've come to expect from Aredenua. The unusual glass and spinning pedestal turns this into a decorative display piece even when it isn't lit. And if you just want to enjoy a reflective or relaxing moment, a few spins of the candle may be just the thing.

I was pleasantly surprised by this candle. The thick, crystal-cut glass jar looks just like the listing photos and feels substantial. It also comes with a small note card and a link to meditation music, which is a thoughtful little touch. The lavender scent is light rather than overpowering. I burned it for about four hours in a roughly 700 sq. ft. room with ceiling fans running, and while the fragrance wasn't strong, it was noticeable and pleasant. I'm very sensitive to fragrances—especially synthetic or chemical-smelling ones—and this one didn't bother me at all. After four hours of burning, the candle had only used a small amount of wax, so it appears like it should last quite a while. There are also plenty of amethyst stones embedded in the wax, and they look just like the photos. Overall, this is a beautiful decorative candle with a subtle lavender scent that's well suited for anyone who prefers a lighter fragrance rather than something that fills the entire house. Well worth the money!

Wow. Such a beautiful candle -- from its packaging to its crystal glass, amethyst embellishments, and SCENT - just the unlit candle provides a strong lavender scent. Lovely! I got this for my gift stash - from time to time you might need (as do I) a housewarming gift, a birthday gift, a hostess gift, a get well gift -- you want something that's striking and not boring and yet not expensive. So here we are -- this is a striking candle, and one that any giftee would love to received. I'm putting it in my gift bin and it will await its true gift purpose in life.

I’ve actually had several candles from this brand, Aredenua, and I really like them. The scents are mostly basic, but they are all pleasant and powerful enough to fill a small room. They are also really pretty designs, especially with the stones and crystals distributed through the wax. This one is no different, although it is larger than the previous candles I’ve reviewed from this brand. The jar is also significantly more decorative than the smaller ones. This candle comes with an absolutely beautiful crystal-like jar with a ‘lazy susan’ style rotating base to it. Its a really beautiful design and it lends itself well to such a highly decorative candle. The wax of this candle is pure white and the purple amethyst crystals are arranged surrounding the central wick in a ring. As the candle burns down, they do tend to move around and create a slightly less aesthetic appearance, I find its best to remove the crystals as the wax frees them, it keeps everything a bit cleaner looking. Also you can keep the pretty crystals out of it, which i really like. I’m a big fan of collecting stones and, while these are fairly low quality amethysts, they are very pretty and well worth keeping. This candle is stated to be “Lavender” scented but I actually don’t pick up a lot of lavender in the fragrance. It does have a really pleasant floral scent in general, but the lavender seems to be in the background of it. It has more of a warm, amber/woody scent to it that I really like. Its hard to describe the scent of this candle, but its fairly strong and its very pleasant.

This faux crystal candle is absolutely beautiful. The crystal-look holder is gorgeous, and I love the white candle with the purple-tinted rocks on top. The rotating base is also crystal-looking and adds an adorable decorative touch. I chose to place mine in the bathroom, where it looks especially nice. The candle is a good size, smells absolutely amazing, and has a strong but delightful fragrance when lit. It would also make a wonderful gift. The only reason I’m giving it four stars instead of five is that the candle is a little wobbly when sitting on the rotating base. It isn’t a major concern for me because I don’t spend time spinning the candle around, but for the price, I expected it to sit a little more securely. That said, the base serves a dual purpose by helping keep the heat off the counter, which is a nice feature. Overall, this is a beautiful candle with a lovely scent and a unique presentation. Despite the slight wobble, I’m very happy with it.
